Sabic 218WJ is a premium linear low density polyethylene resin pellets (LLDPE material) designed for film and package bag applications with good extrusion, mechanical strength, and toughness properties. Mainly used to make garbage bags, shopping bags, co-extruded films, laminated films, etc.

Good mechanical properties. As a specialised LLDPE material for producing films and packaging bags, Sabic 218WJ LLDPE achieves a tensile elongation at break of 700% in the flow direction, with a puncture resistance of 63 J/m and a falling weight impact strength of 85 g/μm. Its excellent tensile properties and puncture resistance make Sabic 218WJ LLDPE an outstanding material for manufacturing packaging bags and films.

Good optical performance. Compared with LLDPE material of the same grade, the haze of Sabic 218WJ LLDPE is 13%. The finished product of 218WJ is more transparent and has higher clarity, which is suitable for products with higher appearance requirements.

Containing process aids agents, Sabic 218WJ LLDPE material are added with antiblock and slip agents to make the production of films more convenient and prevent the LLDPE films from adhesion during storage.
