Application
Marlex HHM 5502BN is food contact grade blow molding high density polyethylene material (HDPE pellets) with good toughness, strength, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, and low temperature resistance. It is commonly used as small blow molded bottles for disinfectants, bleaches, household chemicals, etc.
⚠️Chevron Philips Chemical produces HHM 5502BN HDPE material for blow molding. It has two origins: the United States and Saudi Arabia. The material properties of the two origins are almost identical, and there is almost no difference in processing and use.

Marlex 5502BN HDPE pellets Advantage
- Food contact grade resin. Marlex HHM 5502 high density polyethylene meets food contact safety standards and is FDA 21 CFR certified. It can be used in food contact packaging and pharmaceutical packaging.
- Good mechanical properties. As a commonly used HDPE material for the production of small blow-molded bottles, HHM 5502BN has a flexural modulus of 1370 MPa and a breaking elongation of 600 MPa under a 50 mm/min IV test environment. It has good impact resistance and has a great advantage in the production of small bottles.
